In the new era context of intelligence and the "dual carbon" strategic goals, the intelligent transformation and development of the oil and gas exploration and development sector is an extremely core and important strategic research objective for the energy industry. To fully leverage the advantages of artificial intelligence technology in the oil and gas exploration and development field, strengthen multi-party collaboration and exchange in the oil and gas industry, and promote the application of intelligent technologies, Xi'an University of Petroleum will host the Open Forum for Intelligent Digital Oil Fields - iDOF 2025.In 2025, the theme of the forum is "Digital-Intelligent Driven, Green Transformation: A New Paradigm for Smart Oil Fields in the Context of Global Energy Transformation," aiming to explore the construction of digital, intelligent, and wise oil and gas fields. To further strengthen the connection between academia and industry, accelerate the promotion and application of high-tech innovations, and facilitate face-to-face communication, the iDOF forum has adopted a mechanism of rotating host universities among petroleum institutions.
